A member asked:

I will get a blood test for toxoplasmosis tomorrow and i ate raw meat 6 days ago...will it be enough to detect it in case i got infected ?i'm pregnant

A doctor has provided 1 answer

For baseline: The test may show that you had an infection earlier and are not at risk from the episode 6 days ago. If you acquired the infection only six days ago, the test will be negative, but it will still be important as a baseline to compare with a test that should be done in 2-6 weeks.
