Toddler&fever: I understand how frustrating it is for parents2see their child with fever&the doc says to wait it out! viral illnesses need2 run their course&there are no antibiotics to help with viral illnesses. As long as your pediatrician has checked your son&finds nothing else that could cause the fever but viral illness, he will get better.Fever should subside in 3-4 daysif not go back 2 ur doc.
