Let Peds rheum help: Your child should be evaluated and treated by a board-certified pediatric (peds) rheumatologist to make sure the diagnosis is correct and proper treatment given.Peds rheumatologists are pediatricians so they know how to explain a chronic disease to you and your child. You are part of a team with your peds rheumatologist so don't go it alone. We are straightforward and honest but use terms for kids.
