Head banging: Has your son obtained developmental milestones at the expected age? Is he talking and able to communicate with you? Does he prefer to play by himself? Can he look at you in the eye? If the answers are mostly no, a neurologist or a behavioral pediatrician should be consulted.

See below: Suggest revisit pediatrician to have him checked for ear infection, which sometimes is source of head banging. Otherwise, protect his head with extra pillows or a helmet to prevent injury. Pediatric counsellor may need to be consulted to cover all bases.
