Comfortable humidity: Your exhaled-air is perfect in moisture balance thus comfortable to the nose during colder/drier months as in many nights of winter. Covering the head traps moisture and thus more comfortable to breath via nose. The sheets are quite thin and air can pass through with ease, thus not concerning for oxygenation problem. Mine kids do same, as i too at times...
