Not if controlled: Crohn's disease is a chronic illness but can be controlled. It carries its own risk of complications but is not necessarily a lethal disease.

Not necessarily.: Crohn's varies anywhere from very mild to life threatening disease. To be sure, many have died from crohn's and its complications.
