Musculoskeletal: Rib cage pain may be related to trauma or sprain. Intercostal muscles and ligaments attached to ribs can be injured. Inflammation can occur at costochondral junctions near sternum. Ribs can be fractured. Gall bladder disease unlikely most of time not affected by positioning. If pain continues should consult physician, possible imaging etc.
