How do i get my child to break up a dry chest he is very wheezy and says it hurts to the point that he crys?

If he is : Wheezing, having difficulty breathing, short of breath accompanied with chest discomfort, he needs to see his pediatrician asap or the emergency for treatment.If you have a rescue inhaler like albuterol hfa you need to give it back to back 15 minutes apart only three times! then head on to the emergency room. He may need an expectorant to help break the mucus.

Reactive airway dis: Inhaled steroids + singular ( montelucast or ltd-4 antagonist) is the answer. It takes sometimes as much as two to three months to show the positive results; but it works. Also a short course of oral steroids should help too. See a pulmonologist.
