Healthy nutrition: Interesting! usually weight gain occurs w/untreated hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid). That's why most people want to take levothyroxine to lose weight. You did the exact opposite so i suspect something else must have happened at same time as stopping medication. Regardless, healthy proper nutritiion is key to weight maintenance, whether more or less. Go see your doc & get TSH retested.

Take the right amoun: Take the proper amount of brand name replacement every day. If your level is normal, your weight should be stable. If not, then adjust your diet, but do not adjust your thyroid replacement. Let your doctor do that. You don't treat weight problems by adjusting thyroid!
