See your doctor: Painless rectal bleeding in someone your age is most likely caused by a internal hemorrhoid. Avoid constipation and take a stool softner if needed. There are other more serious causes of blood in the stool, however, and i recommend you see your doctor to figure out where the blood came from. Good luck.
