Ovarian Cyst: Hemorrhagic ovarian cysts are quite common. Many produce no symptoms at all, but others may cause pain in mid-cycle, especially if they rupture. Occasionally, large ones can rupture suddenly and be an acute emergency. If you are concerned, i would definitely discuss the matter again with your gynecologist.
