Spironolactone : Spironolactone blocks the testosterone receptor and the aldosterone receptor. Blockade of testosterone can effect the very sensitive hypothalamic, pituitary, ovarian axis and cause menstrual irregularities. This will typically improve as your body adapts to the presense of the medicine.
