Nortriptylene: Dry mouth is one of the side effects of most tricyclic antidepressants, including nortriptylene. Some of this may dissipate over the next couple of weeks or so. You can sip water; suck on ice chips; suck on sugarless candy; breathe through nose, not mouth; consider a moisturizing mouth spray. If the dry mouth continues, you'll want to be even more attentive to dental hygiene.
