Provera (medroxyprogesterone): Will trigger the shedding of your uterine lining, not ovulation. What you did was a Progesterone challenge test. It proved that you're making estrogen that's prepping the endometrium, but you probably didn't ovulate and therefore there was no surge in Progesterone triggering the bleed. Your Provera (medroxyprogesterone) was that artificial surge. Clarify this with your doctor and decide on the next step. Good luck!
