Took 10mg of provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 30 days, bleeding started a week before it was done, still bleeding 3 weeks later.. is this normal? should i be worried?

Provera (medroxyprogesterone): It depends on the circumstances for which you took the provera (medroxyprogesterone). That's a long time to take provera (medroxyprogesterone), but it's OK. If you had a very thickened uterine lining (endometrium) from not ovulating, such as in PCOS, you could have some bleeding for 3-4 weeks before it stops. If no biopsy of the uterus was done, and the bleeding continues you need to be checked for cancer or other causes for the bleeding.
