Moisturizer: Sometimes the rash and itch can persist for weeks after treatment of scabies. Use a moisturizer and ask your doctor for a topical cream to soothe the skin and help it recover. Also, if you are still itchy, take an oral antihistamine to ease it. The more your scratch, the worse the rash gets.
