Is eye pressure reading in mid morning higher than late afternoon?

Usually yes.: Generally eye pressure is higher in the mornings and lower in the afternoon but this is not true for everyone.

Generally yes: Traditionally, intraocular pressure is higher in the morning than the afternoon. That is likely not the whole story with evidence of pressure spikes at other times, like on wakening.
