Many causes: There are many causes. The most common i would say are reflux disease, a peptic ulcer or a condition called nonulcer dyspepsia. An upper endoscopy could help make the diagnosis. Gallbladder disease is less likely unless the pain is severe and comes in discrete waves. I would suggest you contact your doctor for further advise.
