No: If the veins are on the top of your feet, they are of no concern unless accompanied by ulcers...If they are on the underside of your feet they need to be investigated.

Probably not: Many thin people feel that the veins in their feet are prominent when in fact they are normal. If this is a sudden change or only involves one foot then evaluation for a DVT may be necessary, although you would probably have discomfort and swelling also.

Probably normal.: Veins can enlarge and shrink for many reasons most commonly levels of hydration, genetics, aging, sun exposure, temperature changes and even skin color being more prominent in fair skinned people. Most commonly what you are experiencing is a normal variation but you probably should see a vein specialist for a full venous evaluation so that they could examine you and answer all of your questions.
