2 mm?: This is a common place for lymph nodes. Without knowing your history, i would not be concerned about a 2 mm nodule. Check and see if it was 2 cm.

2 mm, really?: If the mass is really 2 mm, it is too small for pet. If it is 2 cm, then pet may be helpful. ?S to ask - what organ is it originating from - if the aorta, consider a consult with a cardiologist. ? - was it seen on any older scans - if, in retrospect, it was there 2 years ago and unchanged, then it is probably benign. Why was ct done in the first place?
