A member asked:

Is really light colored stool a cause for immediate concern?

No pain, no worry: Typically, you should not worry about the change of stool colors unless red/blood or tarry black and/or abdominal pain/fever etc...Having some color change from day to day without other symptoms is quite normal and i would not worry. Just keep an eye on it...I am sure it will be back to usual in 24-48 hours. If worsens, consult doc. Good luck.

Maybe - see your doc: When stool gets light, ei: grey, white or clay colored, it can be due to an underlying gallbladder/liver issue. Bile is what gives stool its color so if not being produced or blocked for its excretion then can lead to light colored stool. See your doctor.
