How to stop eye infections comming back after steroids?

Steroid use: Steroids are typically used to treat inflammation. If you have been on steroids (drops or pills) for difficulty with your eye(s), it would seem that you had an inflammation such as iritis. This condition can be recurrent - even after completely resolving, it can return for no good reason. The only way to prevent its return is to know what sets it off and to prevent it, but this is difficult to do.

Depends : Really depends on what you are being treated for. If it is HSV or zoster, sometimes long term low dose steroids are required to suppress inflammation.
