Endometrial ablation can be effective in 60+% of patients or hysterectomy is effective 100% in relieving bleeding. Endo needs to be excised at time of hysterectomy. Seek skilled surgeon for total laparoscopic hyst.

See your doctor.: Endometriosis does not usually cause bleeding. The endometrium is the part of the uterus that causes bleeding with periods. Endometriosis is located outside of the uterus and causes abnormal pain associated with periods or at other times of the month.
