A member asked:

Are cancerous lymph nodes moveable or fixed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If the cancer is contained within the capsule of the lymph node it is mobile. If the cancer has penetrated through the capsule of the lymph node it is likely to become fixed to the nearby tissue and become immobile. Please note enlarged lymph nodes do not always mean that it is a cancerous lymph node.
