A member asked:

Anxiety after hysterectomy. is there anything i can do or take for this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe, not likely: Many treatments help anxiety: lifestyle changes, cognitive-behavioral therapy & perhaps medication are great first steps. Your doctor can help you monitor changes in symptoms while you target the anxiety. Symptom checklists help measure the response to treatments. If the anxiety relates to fears about future or views of yourself (life without future children), referral for therapy will be key.
