Both: Somnolence is usually a sign that more sleep or rest is needed, and it can take a while to catch up from sleep deprivation, but falling asleep while doing chores can be dangerous -falls accidents etc. It could reflect an underlying medical condition, medication effects, or other serious problem. This needs medical assessment asap for safety and health reasons.
