Narcotics : Cause constipation! period! if you must take oxycontin, be sure to drink 80-100 ounces of caffeine free/alcohol free fluid daily. This may help, but try to get of the narcotic as soon as possible.

Yes : Very common. Increase fluid and fiber in your diet , avoid high fat, constipating foods and get off of oxy as soon as possible.
