BV 1st : She was probably recommending you take tinidazole first for BV then taking Fluconazole for yeast. The rationale is that antibiotics can cause yeast as a side effect.

Fluconazole after: Treatments for urinary / vaginal (or any bacterial) infection can often disrupt the usual flora and allow for yeast infection. So taking the Fluconazole last / after other treatment will help kill that off (if present).
