Neck?: If you are having a cervical epidural (i.e. An epidural in your neck) it is possible to lose your voice if a local anesthetic is being used. It can also happen if the local anesthetic is injected in the subdural space instead of epidural space. Both these situations would be dangerous and possibly stop your ability to breath.
