Temporarily: It should not affect any of the characteristics of your voice in the long term. But you will have quite a bit of pain after the procedure as you are recovering, and won't feel like singing for a little while.

Unlikely: Your voice is related to your vocal cords and the reasonance of your entire skull and airway. Your tonsil is a part of your airway. As such, an alteration could theoretically alter this, though i suspect the result would be not very noticeable.

Are you professional: If you make your living singing then removing your tonsils may adversely affect the quality of your singing voice. The throat is part of the vocal tract which modulates the quality of sound. If your tonsils are removed, that area can scar and change the way that sound is formed. If you are not a professional then the change in your voice would be more difficult to notice and less of an issue.
