I had my epidural steroid injection, after 2 or 3 days i started to have oral herpes that within 2 months i had 3 episodes and its getting worst.

Let me explain: I do not think there is a big problem her? Some time we treat herpes with steroid? I believe what happen her when got your epidural injection that causes your immunity depression which in turn may help the doormat virus to be active and cause this. Good luck.

Id: Tell the doctor who did the epidural. It may be coincidence. You might want to talk about it with your primary care doctor or see an infectious disease specialist. I hope you get better.

Unsure: You probably had the herpes already. The steroid injection can cause a brief decrease in immune system response which is maybe why the herpes showed up. Speak with your PCP about what to do for this.
