i popped a boil on my chest area about 6 months ago. it left a hole that i thought would heal itself, it still hasn't. is there a way to close it?

You may need surgery: Non-healing sores require proper evaluation. I would suggest that you have a physician examine the area and see if it looks suspicious. Some non-healing wounds turn out to be skin cancers. Alternatively, it may just need a corrective surgery to close the hole.
