Not necessarily: That is quite a bit of weight loss, though it depends on how overweight you were to begin with. Was it an intentional weight loss? If not you absolutely must see your physician asap. If intentional, you need to level out to a healthy balanced diet at this point and have enough protein in your diet, as well as complex carbs, fruits, vegetables. If you eat well, no protein supplement is needed.
