I wouldn't count on: it. Unfortunately most over the counter "testosterone boosters" have limited effect your body's actual testosterone levels. If anything the weight-lifting you are participating in, is more likely to boost your testosterone levels than most of these supplements.

Likely not: depends on what's in them. They may help very slightly but to really boost your T you need actual testosterone. Topicals work but most men need injections.

Low testosterone?: I agree that only testosterone will significantly raise levels, and that the exercise is more likely to have an effect than the booster pills. Please note also: Some medical societies recommend testosterone only for low blood levels w certain symptoms (eg thin bones, fatigue, breast tissue). Low testosterone in a young man can be a pituitary or testis problem, & should be evaluated by a doc.
