Non issue: As MRI uses magnetic forces for imaging, not radiation. It is true that multiple cts and plain films over time could be of some concern.

MRI is not harmful: Mri scans do not use radiation (like xrays or ct scans). The process used to obtain an MRI is not harmful. There are potential problems with the contrast dye used for mri. Having 2 sequential pelvic MRI scans is totally safe. The xray question is more difficult.
