Unclear: I'm not sure what white spots behind the eyes means. If you are seeing white spots, there are a number of causes, which an ophthalmologist can help identify. Of concerns is retinal or vitreous detachment, which can cause intermittent white spots in your vision.

White Spots in Eyes: You should see your ophthalmologist immediately. These spots could represent signs of macular degeneration or they could signify an impending retinal detachment. Other causes are possible, that are less serious. Either way, you should have your ophlamologist explain the findings and potential treatments after undergoing a thorough eye exam.
