Not long: In most referral centers, final reports are available within 24 hours. If you are being seen at a smaller hospital or imaging center, the longest you should have to wait would be 2 or 3 days.

CT results: In most cases the report should be at the doctors office the same day or the next day. If you have not heard from your doctor within two or three days you should call your doctor to discuss the results.
