Results same day: Should not take > 24 hrs. Some ct angiograms are processed by computer to demonstrate profiles of actual vessels. Some institutions might have a back-log & thus delay processing. We always get our results within 24 hours. You might call the ct offiice to complain & suggest that you call your insurance to discuss penalising the ct people because 3 week delay to report is sub-standard level of care.

CT: In this day and age, there should not be such delays. Most x-rays are read within 24 hours.
