BP or BPPV: It's not uncommon to get a little dizzy with rapid change in position. Two common causes of more severe dizziness are orthostasis, failure to maintain normal blood pressure with rapid change in position, and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (bppv), which has to do with the inner ear and is typically easily correctable.
