Baker's cyst?: Particularly if on one side or asymmetric, might be a "baker's cyst" in the popliteal fossa. Sometimes can id by exam alone, otherwise ultrasound test done. See your dr or an orthopedist for mgmt.

U/S: Start with a duplex scan of the popliteal space - it will identify any venous or arterial disease (also, baker's cysts can be detected).

Ultrasound: With limited info hard to be more specific. Ultrasound could look for bakers cyst or some venous issue. If that is normal suggest evaluation by orthopedic surgeon.
