Temporary condition: Because of your acute illness, it is quite common to have a loss of apetite. Try taking more fluids and juices which will supplement calories. You might also develop some increased stomach acidity because of stress which can cause inflammation (gastritis) leading to possibly nausea and apetite loss. Some medications themselves might cause these symptoms. It's hopefully temporary.
