Incomplete treatment: Frequently yeast infection need to be treated a second time or on a weakly basis for a few weeks . If you have not seen a doctor and self treated with over the counter medication, it would help to get tested as a lot of time bacterial vaginal infection are misdiagnosed as recurrent yeast infection.

Yeast: A yeast infection usually resolves in one to two weeks with appropriate treatment. It may take longer for those who are immunocompromised.
