Will flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) help with the food poisoning cramping of my abdomen?

Likely not: Present your symptoms to your doctor, and he/she will advice you on what (if anything) to do. Do not self-medicate, it could be dangerous to do so.

Probably not: Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is a general muscle relaxant used for spasms in skeletal muscles....So mainly striated muscles that are under voluntary control.... However, the spasms that you are experiencing from food poisoning are more related to smooth muscle controlled by the autonomic system..... There are antispasmodics used for the GI system...You should consult your primary care physician.
