I have had a lump on my knee for about 5yrs, it's a little larger than a pea & dome shaped. it does not move & hurts at times. should i be worried?

Not worried: Tara, this sounds like most likely a cyst of some kind, or possibly a bone fragment from an old injury, or even a foreign body. The fact that it has not grown is most reassuring. I would suggest just pointing it out to your doctor at your next routine exam and getting it evaluated.
