Not that I know of: Hi. The components needed to form cavities and gum disease are bacterial plaque (fuzzy stuff you brush and floss off your teeth) and a carbohydrate (sugar) in your food or drink. Saccharine is an artificial sweetner and isn't used by the bacteria to create an acid which is what causes the breakdown. Saccharine may be attributed to other health problems you do need to be aware of.
