Ask your surgeon: I do not know how the sutures were placed. The dots may just be a reaction where the suture was & will resolve over a few weeks. Watch for increasing redness or signs of infection. See your surgeon for an examination.

Temporary: Those red dots are your body's inflammatory response. That's perfectly normal and expected and will fade over the coming weeks. A year from now you will have a hard time seeing the scar.

Probably: The sutures allow bacteria into the skin causing small infections, with the sutures gone those red dots should resolve.
