I have a weight of 80 kgs and want to reduce it to 60. am willing to do anything as the weight is slowing down my athletic progress.

Lifestyle change: It is very good that you are involved with athletics. You can count calories / work very hard at aerobic fitness / get advice with a dietician (would be a good idea) but the key will be the relationships you form in the sports community itself. When other young men see you are trying, they will encourage and guide you with your body transformation.
