Yes, effective: Fluticasone (flonase) is a nasal steroid spray and levocetirizine (xyzal) is a new generation antihistamine. They are excellent medications for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. There is no new side effects when these are combined. Each can have the potential for mild side effects alone-nose bleeds. In general they are well tolerated.
