Milk Thistle Effects: In some studies researchers found that relatively small concentrations of milk thistle did significantly slow down the activity of the liver enzyme cyp3a4 by 50% to 100%. This enzyme system is the essential force that metabolizes most drugs ingested, and by decreasing the system you increase the effective levels of the drug in your system. This can be very dangerous and i would be very cautious.
