Why overies do not alternate ovulution from side to side every month.

Good question.: Should they? They clearly do not. It has to do with dominant follicle growth velocity and is pretty random - unless endometriosis has destroyed one of the ovaries, in which case all ovulations originate in the healthy ovary.
